Objects in PocketDraw include symbols, lines, connectors and paths. To select an object tap it with the selection tool (see Tool Palette). Select multiple objects by tapping in an empty area of the canvas and dragging the selection rectangle around the desired objects. Selected objects and paths display a bounding box with drag handles, as shown in Figure 7. Lines display drag handles along their path. To resize an object, drag an edge of its selection box by one of it solid drag handles. As you drag an edges, it will stick to the grid if Sticky Grid is enabled (see Preferences in the Tools menu). Hollow handles cannot be dragged and indicate edges or vertices that cannot be modified directly. Dragging a selected object by its interior moves the object. If Sticky Grid is enabled, objects snap their upper left corner to grid points while they're being moved. (Objects with rotations other than 90, 180, or 270 degrees do not snap to the grid.) To rotate an object, grab it by the round selection handle. Objects can be rotated to any angle, however, to make it easy to achieve standard rotations, they're slightly sticky at 45, 90, 135, 180, 225, 270, and 315 degrees. |
