PocketDraw features both straight and orthogonal connector lines. Straight lines connect objects directly, and orthogonal lines connect objects using only vertical and horizontal line segments. Figure 8 shows a sample of the two connector types. To create a new connector line, choose either the straight or orthogonal connector tool (see figure 9). Tap and drag from the starting connection point to the destination point. When you lift the stylus, PocketDraw will create a connector line between the two points. Figure 10 shows a connector as it's being drawn. The insets show connection points in their selected and unselected states. When you draw an orthogonal connector, PocketDraw creates a route for the line automatically. You can modify the position of any segment of an orthogonal connector, except the starting and ending segments. Selecting an orthogonal connector displays solid drag boxes on segments that can be moved. When you move segments they snap to the grid if Sticky Grid is enabled. You can't change the starting or ending points of a connector line once it's been drawn. Instead, delete the line and create a new one. |
